I'M REALLY GONNA MISS THIS SHOW | "LUCIFER" SEASON 6 REVIEW

Y'know what I noticed? This season started the same way the 1st season started, Lucifer driving and then the police officer pulled him over because as Lucifer said, he wasn't paying attention to the road and oh! this police officer is the same guy in the first season, right?

Girl, I missed them so so much. I really thought that the previous season was the last one, but when I saw on Facebook that it was having another season, I was so happy mostly because I get to see more of Maze and Eve, like their interactions on the previous season wasn't enough for me.

Also, it's adorable how Lucifer's excitedly telling Chloe about this private club for magicians and she's just there, listening to him and being interested with all the things he's saying. Awww, I really love it.

Lmaooo I just know he'll LITERALLY die and not get resurrected.

I knew it HAHAHA. Ofc, this is a Lucifer episode and when he said he's gonna conquer death, I knew his death was going to be investigated for this episode.

Damn, I did all that explanation just for me to be wrong? Girl....

Owemji!! Ella and Carol are now working together?!! I really hope they're the one for each other. He should be! I mean, Ella's been through rough tides on the love department, I think it's time for her to have someone, too.

Oh my God! Am I the only one who noticed that Linda is looking younger as the season progresses? Damn, she is glowing!!

Owemjii!! I so so so love maeve. They're different yet they fit each other perfectly well, like what the other lacks, the other has. They really are meant to be for each other and if someone tries to get between them...they won’t HAHAHAHA, I'm sure they're endgame. Now, excuse me while I fangirl over these two and their relationship.

WHY ARE THEY SO ADORABLEEE?!!! AHHHH MY HEART CAN'T TAKE THIS MUCH ADORABLE-NESS!! AND LMAOOO Amenadiel's reactions are priceless af!!

I know Lucifer doesn't really mind what he's saying, but when he said this to Miss Lopez, I found it really wholesome.

WE HAVE A NEW CHARACTER

I already saw her on the trailer. I guess she's the new villain. I'm really curious about who she is and what's her charm or "mojo" as per Lucifer. And I might say, at first glance, I thought her wings were rubies but when I got the full look, it’s actually knives? That's cool af.

I really love how there are drag characters in episode 2. I learned a bit of what it's like to be in a drag world, that it's not just all fun and shiny and the queens also doubts themselves sometimes. And also, that thing with Miss Lopez thinking that Carol's too good to be true and he's just manipulating her, that's one thing we can all relate to. Sometimes, people from the past hurt and traumatize us that's why we're scared to trust someone anymore. I mean, I, too, have trust issues and I don't think it's gonna be gone so soon, but good for Ella, she finally found someone for her.

Nooo, Dan said he wouldn't let another angel manipulate him, but here he is again being manipulated.

Okay, Dan, you have completely redeemed yourself HAHAHAHA I really thought he was gonna help her destroy Lucifer.

Damn, I've seen Lucifer have a musical episode but never have I thought that it would have an animated episode. Actually, only a portion of the episode is animated, but still.

I know she's a villain, but I can't help not liking her and her attitude, I guess she's my 9th favorite character in this series (My fav characters: Luci, Maze, Eve, Chloe, Linda, Ella, Dan, and Amendadiel) BUT IF SHE KILLS ONE OF THOSE SEVEN CHARACTERS THAT I SAID, SHE IS IMMEDIATELY OUT OF THE LIST!

HOLY SH-!!! WHAT A REVELATION THIS IS! GIRL... LUCIFER HAS A CHILD?!! I MEAN, WE SHOULDN'T BE SURPRISED BY THIS, RIGHT?! I BET LUCIFER HAD SEXUAL INTERCOURSE PRETTY MUCH EVERYONE IN L.A., THIS WAS GONNA HAPPEN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.

Additionally, they do have their similarities, one of which is, they never listen to Dan. I mean, Dan was really sincere about listening to her problems and her responses were very Lucifer-like.

Holy sh-!!!! Chloe's her mom? I'm tearing up owemjii. Is she really her mom? Or is this one of her plans to destroy Lucifer? Yeah, I think it's the latter.

I gotta say, episode 5 "The Murder of Lucifer Morningstar" is interesting 'cause we get to see a glimpse of the future from Rory 'cause she knows what's gonna happen and I am worried about what will happen with Maze and Eve's wedding. I have a theory about what's gonna happen actually. I think it's because the "apocalypse", the world will be doomed and that's why Maeve's wedding got cancelled and idk what will happen with Lucifer, if he's gonna die or go somewhere. And what if Amendadiel died while fighting during the apocalypse?

Girl...she was just kidding?!!! I, too, was relieved. Welcome to another episode of me explaining what I think will happen only to be wrong again. And I must say. Maze looks good here. I mean, she always looks good, but I love her hair here.

In episode 6, they focused on racism and y'know what, I'm glad they did 'cause POC needs as much representation, too. Lucifer is a popular show and it's good to see that they focus on showing and educating their viewers about the racism happening in America especially in the police force. These things happen in real life, POC are afraid of those who are supposed to protect them and that shouldn't go on in the near future.

Holy sh-!!! We met Adam now?!! I doubt that he'll ruin the wedding. Episode 7's title is "My Best Friend's Wedding" and at first I thought Linda would be the one to say that, but now I think it's Adam. I am sure that Adam and Eve don't have feelings for each other anymore. So it's safe to say that the Maeve ship is still floating and won't hit and iceberg named "Adam" then sink. Yes, the wedding is till on, honey.

Oh come on, why does he have to be slow-mo here? He's not even THAT attractive (sorry, that was my gay-ass speaking)

Oh come on, Adam. Suck it up, you are the worst husband ever. You barely have time for your wife and you only recently heard that she was gone. And you have the guts to waltz inside Lux to what? To stop your ex-wife's wedding and for what? To take her back to the Silver City and not give her any attention again? Like dude, seriously? You suck at being husband, so I say, stop with your lame excuses and get your delusional ass back in the Silver City and let your wife...or ex-wife have her own happiness in love.

Yass queens!! Tell him! Lmaoooo this scene got me wheezing, girl!!! And I love the fact how Maze was just standing there not giving an F about what "Asshole Adam" was saying to Eve 'cause she knows thay Eve will choose her no matter what. (Later in the series, I found out why Maze was not giving an F about Adam arriving in Lux and telling Eve to come home with him because it was her plan all along.)

So Maze was willing to cancel the wedding and let Eve go because she thinks she's not worthy of her love because she's a demon and because of that, she thinks she can't be a good mother? I mean, we all have our insecurities and....I really don't have much to say about this because I am not that experienced in the love department, but what I noticed about Maeve's relationship is that, it's always Maze who walks away. Like, she always thinks she doesn't deserve Eve.

Remember that scene when Eve was shot and Maze thinks that there's a chance that Eve might actually die so she gave her Lilith's ring so she could be immortal, and when Eve didn't accept it and told her that mortality is a gift and she just have to accept it, she walked away 'cause the fear she felt was on a whole new level and she doesn't wanna feel it again (see the picture below for reference). Yeah, that. But tbh, I think that they both complement each other. I mean, Maze has a lot of insecurities when it comes to being enough for Eve because she's a demon but Eve tells her she's enough and she loves her for who she is and as a return, Maze gives Eve the love that she hasn't felt in so long, plus they're both each other's HOME. They may go through some troubles, but at the end of the day, their love is greater than their problem and they'd alway go back to each other and honestly, that's beautiful. Oh and yeah, I wouldn't have noticed that the title was "My Best FIEND'S WEDDING" not FRIEND if Lucifer didn't say it lmaooo

"I wanted my family to know that I'm proud of who I love" GIRLLL!!! THE FEELS!! DO YOU FEEL IT?! HELP. I AM CRYING HERE. I CAN'T EVEN SPEAK REAL SENTENCES. THE LINE JUST HITS HARD, YOU KNOW.

Okay, I love them both but seeing Maze looking up for so long actually hurts my neck.

EVE AND MAZE'S WEDDING

OWEMJII!! THE ELECTRIC GUITAR PLAYING AND I AM LOVING MAZE'S FIT HERE!! UGHH BLACK WEDDING DRESS AND THE BLACK ROSE PETALS SCATTERED ON THE GROUND?! GIRL!! I AM LIVING FOR IT!! AND THE VENUE LOOKS HEAVENLY!!!

AHHH GIRL!!! I'M FEELING DIFFERENT KINDS OF EMOTIONS RIGHT NOW!! AHHH I'M HAPPY AND I'M CRYING BECAUSE I'M HAPPY, THIS WHOLE SCENE JUST MAKES MY HEART HAPPY. I LOVE THEM SO SO MUCH, AND I'M ALSO HAPPY BECAUSE THEY'RE GETTING MARRIED AND I'M PROUD OF MAZE FOR GOING THIS FAR AND FOR WILLING TO CHANGE FOR EVE. AHHHH MAEVE IS MAKING ME A HOPELESS ROMANTIC RN!! WHEN EVE WAS WALKING DOWN THE AISLE, AND MAZE WAS CRYING, I REALLY WANA SCREAM SO BAD BECAUSE OF THE ALL THE FEELINGS I FEEL, BUT I CAN'T 'CAUSE THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE IN THE HOUSE SO I JUST HAVE TO SCREAM SILENTLY AND NOW MY THROAT’S ACHING. ALSO, EVE LOOKS GREAT IN THIS FIT, TOO

WHEN MAZE SAID THAT SHE LOVES EVE SO EFFING MUCH AND EVE RESPONDED THE SAME THEN THEY KISSED, I JUST FREAKING LOST IT. I' REALLY KICKING MY FEET HIGH UP IN THE EAR WHILE SILENTLY SCREAMING AHHH I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, THEY'RE MARRIED!!! AHHHH!!

I have a feeling that episode 9 is gonna be heartbreaking. I mean, from the title itself, "Goodbye, Lucifer", that sounds like Lucifer's gonna die or going somewhere and Chloe and his friends won't ever see him again. Additionally, the scenes where he's bonding with his daughter is a foreshadowing of his death. I'm glad he could do these with his daughter because someday, no matter how much she's gonna hate Lucifer, she'll look back into this time and realize that Lucifer may left, but he truly loved Rory, more than she thinks.

Also, I noticed that Lucifer hugged a lot more n this season awwww. But him saying his goodbyes to her friends is breaking my heart. I am tearing up rn.

I think I know what Dan's guilt is. Maze said that his guilt had something to do with when he died and I think, in his dying moments, he thought about Trixie on whether he's been a good dad to her or if she's even proud of him or if she's gonna hate him because he left them early, but when he had the chance talk to Trixie and her telling him that he's the best dad ever and that she's proud of him as much as he's proud of her, that just lifted all the worries and guilt in his heart and that's why he ascended into heaven.

Owemjiii, they recreated that scene in season 1!! I am getting nostalgic huhu

Awww it actually is a happy ending and not just for Lucifer and Chloe, but also for the rest of them. I mean, Ella's STEM thingy is successful, Charlotte and Dan are having the best of their lives in heaven, Maze is on Earth with the love of her life doing what they both enjoy doing, Harris is now a lieutenant, Amenadiel’s now God, Charlie became an angel (which is good for Amenadiel because that's what he wanted ever since), and finally Lucy...from a devil to a club owner and consultant to the LAPD at the same time and now a therapist for lost souls. Wow! What a career change!

Tbh, I am so happy of all the characters' development especially Lucifer, Maze, and Amenadiel. Maze has been manipulated a lot of times by Lucifer's enemies because of her insecurities and now look at her, she used to be a demon who hates everyone and doesn't even hesitate to kill someone, especially an angel, but now, she even called Lucifer to stop him from killing Adam, she also has a soul now, she's happily married to Eve and she's happy with where she is and what she has and honestly I'm happy for her and Eve, too. Amenadiel who hates humanity at first, but now, he is a God who cares about every human on the world. Lucifer who doesn't care about anything unless it's s*x, dr*gs or tequila but now, he cares about his friends and especially Chloe. He gives hugs now and he used to hate children but now he has his own child whom he loves so so much.

Also, they are really partners until the end, well more like even in the afterlife and now that Chloe's a soul which basically means she’s immortal just like Lucifer and their child, they can spend a lot of time together. Lucifer may not be there for Chloe and Rory when she was alive, but now he can be there for them like y'know, Rory can visit his mom and dad at hell sometimes and they can eat donuts or something. They have a millennium or even more to make up for those times when Lucifer wasn't by their side. Same goes for Linda and Ella, when they die, they'll also be a soul and they can all still bond in the afterlife.

The writers really did a good job istg. I love the flow of the story, and the lessons I learned in every episode, the representation of the LGBTQ+ community, the social issues that they tackle in some episodes (like thay racism episode), and many more. I'm really gonna miss the cast. Yes, we'll see them in their own future projects, but what I mean is the cast being together in one show or movie, that's what I'm gonna miss. Also, it's commendable how the season finished with all our questions answered, for example, I was curious what Chloe looked like in Rory's time and what happened to Michael after the war, what does Adam look like, what does the Silver City look like and all of those was shown during the series so I'm pretty satisfied with how it ended.
